TELEPHONE EMULATION MODULE

A customer approached Hidalgo with a specific requirement to test call success levels on his wireless communication network. Hidalgo was able to provide a low cost custom tool to deliver the test capability the customer needed. The resulting product, known as the TEM, is a unique product, which provides:

scalable bulk call generation for telephony networks
a direct control feature to allow integration of the unit into higher level test control platforms
a unique call timing mechanism which allows the telephony network's handling of call conflicts and collisions to be tested.

The product is PC based and uses Hidalgo designed analogue telephony interface cards. It has been supplied to a number of telecoms equipment suppliers and operators for testing their 'wireless local loop' networks.

Hidalgo has also helped customers in this arena with:

test strategy and specification for both software and hardware applications
automated test platform development to allow faster and more accurate regression testing
regulatory and approvals testing in Radio, Telecoms, and Medical Devices arenas.
